I have been working in higher education since 2004 in various roles as a researcher, lecturer, senior lecturer and programme leader. I have taught modules covering criminological theory, research methods, criminal justice policy and community justice. Prior to joining University of Gloucestershire in September 2020, I worked at University of Northampton, Keele University, De Montfort University and Birmingham City University.
My main research interests are alternative justice and the role of arts in rehabilitation and desistance. I am happy to receive enquiries and proposals from potential PhD students interested in researching these topics.
