Rebecca McLaren

Lecturer in Physiotherapy

Rebecca is a lecturer in physiotherapy with 17 years' experience of working in the NHS. She enjoys supporting the development of students wishing to become qualified physiotherapists.

Biography

In 2021 I made the transition into academia having worked clinically for the NHS in Gloucestershire for 17 years. During this time I gained a broad range of experience as part of my band 5 rotations, before specialising in trauma and orthopaedic and then onto community rehabilitation.

I have a strong passion for supporting the development of others and guiding our undergraduate students to progress into working as a qualified physiotherapist.
