I have worked at University of Gloucestershire for the last 7 years in the roles of Academic Subject Lead for Nursing and Academic Course Lead for the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing. I have held positions at UWE, where I started as a lecturer in clinical skills and previously worked in the NHS for 15 years.
I am interested simulated practice bringing creativity and passion to creating and implementing a learning environment that promotes motivation to learn, a sense of wellbeing, belonging and safety.
I also teach within the programme across the fields of nursing where modules are shared for clinical skills development. I also hold FHEA.

Research Aims and Objectives:
To examine the feasibility of introducing self-assessment health and quality of health measurements to a nurse education curriculum.
To investigate pre-registered nurses self-assessment of health and quality of life, before and after a six-week introductory programme to nurse education.
