Mel Beeby-Clarke

Lecturerin Comms and PR

I am a proud University of Gloucestershire alumnus who has recently returned to teach on the BA (Hons) Communications and Media via Washington DC, London and many years spent working at some of the UK’s top PR agencies.

Biography

During the past 25 years I’ve enjoyed working on PR campaigns for national and international clients, from small start-up businesses to global household names.

I love nothing better than a good creative idea and seeing it come to life using both traditional PR techniques and ever-evolving social media and digital technologies.

I also founded and built my own national award-winning PR agency, as well as being part of the team that bought international Social Media Week to the Southwest. I am a long-term, active member of Bristol Creative Industries and the Chartered Institute of PR and have regularly spoken at business events and start-up incubators throughout my career.

I am also PR Manager for SEO and digital marketing company Noble, keeping me up to date and plugged into my industry network.
