Immy is a graduate teaching assistant in psychology after previously completing her Criminology with Psychology (BSc) undergraduate degree. She is now completing her Master’s by Research alongside her role as a graduate teaching assistant, looking at the construction of relationship red flags.
Immy also collaborates with our criminology department researching domestic homicide.
Immy supports on research methods modules across levels. She also covers topics relating to gender and sexuality in psychology.
Immy has a keen interest in researching domestic homicide and intimate partner violence. She has experience in both quantitative and qualitative methods, including Feminist Poststructuralist Discourse Analysis. She also has experience in temporal sequencing and pattern analysis, particularly applying the 8 stage homicide timeline to real life cases of domestic homicide.
