Helen Fivey

Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy

Telephone:
A Senior Physiotherapy lecturer with a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and health, exercise and wellbeing. I am thrilled to be able to help students develop excellent knowledge, understanding and rehabilitation skills.

Biography

I have been working as a physiotherapist since 2007, specialising in neurological rehabilitation, especially stroke rehabilitation since 2009. I have a passion for working with people to achieve their goals and to enable them to become masters of their own condition.

Prior to working as a physiotherapist, I completed a degree in Exercise and Sports Science which gave me an excellent foundation to understand the capabilities of the human body.

I am dedicated to helping others learn about neurological conditions but also the natural ageing process, and show what we as physiotherapists can do to promote the best possible quality of life for those we work with.
