I have worked for University of Gloucestershire since 2022. I was a Graduate Teaching Associate (GTA) in Marketing for 15 months before becoming a Lecturer in Marketing in early 2024. My research focuses on Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and gaining an in-depth understanding of postgraduate students’ lived experiences of ChatGPT during this technological change.
Prior to joining the University, I worked as a Careers Account Manager at UCAS, collaborating with employers to leverage UCAS data for their apprenticeship and early career initiatives. Additionally, I gained valuable marketing experience at The Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, USA – a distinguished luxury destination with a Forbes 4-star rating. My role encompassed managing marketing strategies for the resort’s extensive amenities, including residences, dining venues, golf courses, and a marina.
I urge students to join the Marketing Society to expand their network and acquire practical marketing skills while pursuing their degree. Additionally, I strongly advocate for placements for all students.
I am passionate about empowering students, embedding AI into the classroom, and delivering teaching materials that enhance students’ learning experience.
