Dr Danial Javaheri is a lecturer in cyber security and a senior member of the IEEE. He works as a faculty member at the University of the West of Scotland, London Campus and as a postgraduate supervisor at University of Gloucestershire. He previously served as a research professor at Korea University and as an assistant professor at Chosun University, South Korea. He holds a PhD (Hons) in Computer Engineering from Azad University, Tehran, Iran, awarded in 2018, with several national honours.
With over a decade of academic experience, Dr Javaheri has taught cyber security and computer science, conducted extensive research in AI and cybersecurity, and collaborated with international institutions and researchers. He has (co-)authored over 30 publications, including books and papers featured in prestigious venues.
In recent years, he has secured multiple research grants and led several projects as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-PI. In addition to his research activities, Dr Javaheri has peer-reviewed more than 300 articles for over 40 WoS-indexed journals and currently serves as an editor for MAKE and IAS journals.
