I am a senior lecturer in physiotherapy with specialist interest in neurology, rehabilitation, leadership and innovation. I am also the Academic Course Lead for the MSc Physiotherapy programme (Pre-registration) overseeing course planning, execution, student experience and quality monitoring.
I am also the Health & Social Care School Equality Diversity and Inclusion Lead, attending university EDI committees, collaborating with the EDI Executive Dean to instigate and contribute to all quality workstreams linked to diversity and inclusion.
With a love of supporting students within clinical settings and passion for teaching, it was a natural progression to join University of Gloucestershire in 2021. Fuelled with a passion to share and demystify a complex clinical area, my transition to academia was from clinical practice has been seamless.
