Seb Burnett

Lecturer in Illustration

Seb Burnett is an illustrator and character designer from Bristol who loves to tell stories. He lectures on the Illustration and Animation courses at UOG and works as a children’s book illustrator, character designer and director for animation and games.

Biography

Before joining the University of Gloucestershire he was a founding member of the Rumpus Animation Studio in Bristol, working on short films, music videos and animated series. During his time at Rumpus Seb created the Adventures of Bertram Fiddle, an award-winning series of narrative games available on mobile, desktop and console platforms. He still maintains close links to the animation industry and is committed to collaborating across various creative sectors. Clients include Nickelodeon, CBBC, Puffin, Bloomsbury and Usborne. He has a fondness for the absurd and enjoys befuddling everyone with his creations.
