Pippa is a food geographer with a background in medicine and global health. She is interested in research that supports a just transition to a low-carbon society, particularly within agri-food. She has experience in a range of participatory methods, with a focus on visual methods and deliberative approaches. She has also taken time away from academia to work in national and devolved policy settings on climate policy topics.
Pippa’s PhD research is about UK livestock sector discourses on ruminant livestock and climate change, and she is now also working as a research associate at the CCRI on projects relating to agri-food net zero.
