I am a lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology, with a dedicated academic career that began in 2012. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery with distinction from the Faculty of Medicine, I was appointed at the same university.
I further pursued my career and education in clinical pharmacology, completing a Master’s degree in 2015, where I explored the cell signalling of metformin in liver diseases. in 2019, I earned my MD degree, focusing on comparing the roles of metformin and alagebrium in metabolic syndrome.
I am currently an Honorary Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology at the William Harvey Research Institute, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London. Alongside teaching, I am passionate about research with a particular interest in molecular pharmacology.
