Amber Gash

Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology

Amber is a senior lecturer in forensic psychology. As well as her role with the University, she is employed as a registered forensic psychologist for His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS).

Biography

Amber is a registered forensic psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She has worked for His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) since 2010 in roles which have included interventions facilitator and research assistant prior to qualifying as a forensic psychologist.

Amber has a passion for ethical and effective practice to support the reduction of re-offending risk (public protection), and ensuring prisons are decent and rehabilitative environments.
