Biography

I am a clinical exercise physiologist, who has a specialist interest in understanding the adverse consequences of prolonged sitting on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular health during the menopausal transition, specifically employing non-invasive vascular assessment tools.

I focus on developing efficacious strategies to break up sitting time, with a long-term goal to contribute to the medical industry through my research on the positive health effects that breaking prolonged sitting has on people who are at risk for cardiovascular diseases, particularly post-menopausal women.
