Originally from Manchester, Jess has trained as a teacher, a lawyer and soldier and has worked in strategic planning and operational delivery for over 20 years. She transitioned to the Higher Education sector in 2017 after a long career in publishing as a programme manager and digital specialist.
She has led teams in the United Kingdom, India and the USA.
Her role and team are responsible for delivery of strategic projects and programmes; University governance and secretariat, including student casework; regulatory reporting and management information; and legal and risk management, including FOI requests and GDPR compliance.
