The University will award a Bursary of £1000, paid as a cash award, for each full-time student entering their first year of undergraduate study from eligible schools and colleges.
Eligibility is determined by Office for Students’ priorities based on the current Access and Participation Plan objectives (a full list of eligible schools and colleges is available below).

The bursary will be paid directly into student’s bank accounts in two instalments:
• 70% after enrolment has been completed (no later than the end of teaching week 5)
• 30% at the commencement of the 2nd semester of teaching (no later than the end of teaching week 5)
Students will not be eligible for the bursary if:
