Our students complete over 4,000 placements each year. With opportunities locally and globally, you’ll have plenty of hands-on experience to stand out after graduating.

All placements are subject to COVID-19 restrictions and the below are examples of past placement opportunities. There may be additional costs and the destinations are subject to change – please take a look at the course pages for more information.

  • Animation students benefit from internships with Rumpus, A Productions and Wallace & Gromit creators, Aardman Studios.
  • Film Production students have created award-winning films during their studies, including Addy, winner of the BFI Future Film Festival and Delicious Love which won the RTS award for best comedy.
  • Television students have undertaken placements on shows like X-Factor, One Born Every Minute and Britain’s Got Talent.
  • Music student gain hands-on experience working backstage and centre stage at local festivals, such as 2000Trees and Wychwood Festival.
  • Journalism students have covered national football games and the Rio Olympics, reported for The Times and The Guardian, and written for Grazia and Hello! magazines.
