A Taste of Homebrewed

Last updated: 15 May 2024

With around 40 breweries in operation across Gloucestershire, the county’s reputation as a brewing hub continues to precede itself. With the likes of DEYA and Stroud Breweries standing out among the crowd.

At DEYA, known for its boldly flavoured beers and eye-catching branding, they’re obsessed with creating the freshest beer drinking experiences.

And the Taproom at its Cheltenham sight does just that – serving up the freshest, tastiest beers on draft and in cans. Paying the Taproom a visit gives you the chance to experience their newest creations before they’re released for general sale. And it’s only a few minutes’ walk from Cheltenham train station.

Cider Apples

Stroud brewery is one of the leading organic brewers in the UK, with an extensive range of consistently well-crafted and responsibly farmed beers.

The brewery offers the best in pale ales, amber bitters, lagers and stouts. As well as seasonal one offs made throughout the year. But don’t take our word for it. To study the full range of what Stroud Brewery has to offer, pay them a visit.

At their Taproom, there’s happiness for all. The beers are classic and then some, with an emphasis on substance over style.

And you wouldn’t be in the West if you didn’t sample a cider or three. Round these parts, a long, cool glass of cider is a welcome sight. And Gloucestershire’s orchards produce some of the best cider apples. We have Severn Cider, Day’s Cottage, Pearson’s Cider Company. The list goes on.
