Film Production lecturer Lindsey Dryden, won an Emmy and was shortlisted for an Oscar, for her critically-acclaimed film Unrest.
Alex Lockwood, a Film Production graduate, won a BAFTA for Best British Short Film. His work tells the story of the first UK farmer to embrace sustainable organic vegan farming, giving up his entire herd of cattle in the process.
Other notable alumni include Director Richard Loncraine, who won a Primetime Emmy for his work on TV mini-series, Band of Brothers. He’s also a two-time winner at Berlin’s International Film Festival for his work on Richard III and My One and Only.
2007 graduate, Lewis Arnold, was named a Hot Shot in 2014 by Broadcast Magazine, for directing two episodes of the BAFTA-winning channel 4 show, Misfits. And four episodes of the E4 show, Banana. He later went on to direct episodes of Broadchurch, Humans, Des and Dirty Money.
