E-scooters on campus

Zwing e-scooters are available on all our campuses. They’re a fun and sustainable way to do short journeys into Cheltenham and Gloucester or between campuses and accommodation.

It’s £1 to unlock a scooter, then 15p per minute. The scooters reach a top speed of 15mph and are geofenced to slowly stop if ridden outside the prescribed areas.

Zwing sanitise all the e-scooters regularly, and have Shieldex self-cleansing copper handle grips which can eliminate up to 99.98% of viruses and bacteria.

Please note that the use of other e-scooters remains illegal, and only these official scooters can be ridden legally in Cheltenham and Gloucester during this trial.
