University of Gloucestershire is delighted to announce our Social Value Panel event, part of Gloucestershire Social Value Week. Social value work is essential for building a sustainable, equitable future aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. These goals, which include reducing poverty, fostering inclusive growth, and building resilient communities, are increasingly reflected in government and business priorities. For example, the Procurement Act 2023 seeks to integrate social, economic, and environmental benefits into procurement and decision-making.
Academic research is pivotal in advancing social value initiatives, directly influencing policy and practice locally and globally. This event showcases the University’s work across four different domains and invites attendees to participate in the dialogue on social value in Gloucestershire.
If you cannot attend in person and would like to join this event online, register for online tickets.
