Saxon Fullwood is a student on UoG’s BA (Hons) Architecture course.
“My experience in the Architecture course has been incredibly enriching and has introduced many new opportunities. The studio projects in particular are rewarding as they bring together all the skills learned throughout the course.
“The lecturers are outstanding and I wouldn’t be so motivated without them. I enjoy every aspect of the course and a large part of that is due to their support and passion for the subject.
“One of the highlights of the architecture course is the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and participate in external projects. I have made many valuable connections, despite only being in my first year.
“The skills I am learning are not only those directly relating to architecture, but also those transferable to any field, such as public speaking and presentation. These skills have significantly boosted my confidence in both professional and personal settings.
“Being actively involved in RIBA and The Architecture Society has greatly increased my exposure to new opportunities and made me more outgoing. University life has also introduced me to new experiences and friendships that I wouldn’t have encountered otherwise.
“For anyone considering the BA Architecture course, I wholeheartedly recommend it. The course offers a supportive environment that positively challenges you, pushing you out of your comfort zone to achieve more. Additionally, the people I have met here share more interests with me than I could have found anywhere else.”
