Rural Elm

Rural Elm, based in the Cotswolds, is a growing company that specialises in the design of bespoke buildings with a passion for solutions that have a positive impact practically and aesthetically. This multi-disciplinary practice offers a range of architectural and interior design services, including bespoke cabinetry.

The company has been a source of knowledge exchange by attending and offering formative feedback to students on the Interior Architecture and Design (IAD) course in their studio crits since 2023.

Rural Elm has offered employability opportunities to a recent graduate from IAD, and also gave employability support to students (mock interviews, CV building advice, etc) by attending and engaging in the School Practice-Day event.

The company has further generously supported and sponsored the Architecture/Interior Architecture and Design Industry Night event with a student award, enhancing employability for the students (CV building). Having the Director attend this event on campus was also a source of promotion for our students, as they got to network and speak directly with them, and grow in confidence while presenting their work to the industry.
